Internship Opportunities
The Greenleaf Institute is currently looking to fill two internship
positions to explore the use of multiplayer virtual reality
environments in behavioral healthcare and public health risk prevention
programs. Duties will include participation in the design and testing
of SECTER, a computer-based approach to
treating behavioral disorders using a multi-player immersive
environment, as well as developing related curricula. Candidates should
have experience in either education, mental health counseling, or
product design, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
While we expect these positions to be filled by graduate students in
education, psychology, and design we will gladly consider candidates
with relevant alternative experience. These positions are currently
unpaid but the Greenleaf Institute strongly supports and encourages
interns to pursue internship scholarships and university credit. As
funding increases for this project, we expect to be able to offer a
stipend for interns in the future.
